What's New This Week!

Hot Babe of the Week is courtesy of yours truly and the super folks at Lemoore NAS, namely VFA-122. Spent the day out there this last Friday to get some pics and get a firs peek at some of the new schemes they have coming out in 2011. Cool stuff!

This digital Hornet is a pretty busy scheme and I was able to get over 400 photos of this guy from every angle. The guys at the squadron were absolutely great and provided me with lots of digital files to assist in the possible creation of this sheet. I've always held short on these types of schemes due to their complexity but with the help the squadron gave me, I'm going to have to seriously reconsider and possibly do these guys up. More to come as I put some brain cells against this one.

Speaking of new shemes, big news this week as reported on ARC earlier this week is that Twobobs has received permission through a licensing agreement from the US Navy to reproduce any/all of the upcoming Naval Centennial paint schemes in decal form! The Centennial logo as well as some verbiage are trademarked and protected by the US Navy which is the reason for the licensing agreement. We have some artwork previewed below for you to see! Great news and the US Navy is helping us out quite a bit to make sure we have everything we need to get these schemes done and out to all of you modelers!

Still waiting on decal sheets to show up over here (Diana and Egg Planes) so until then, here's some more artwork that I've finished and can preview now. You've heard about the Snakes and Dragons sheet already, below is some sneak peek artwork at some Naval Centennial artwork that we've finished up!

The VAQ-129 sheet needs some stencils added and also need to add the Prowler jet which isn't out of paint yet. As soon as that happens, we'll have this guy to the printers as well!

News on 3rd Party Friends of Twobobs!

Reminder to our customers that our remaining stock of Xtracrylics is discounted until they're gone. Not a whole lot left so get em while you can. The aircraft colors are pretty much out of stock so most of what's left is Luftwaffe and Armour colors.

All Xtractylics paint is discounted to $2.00 each while the larger size bottles of the various clearcoats and thinners are discounted to $3.00. We'll keep them discounted until they're all gone.

We've also decided to clear out our inventory of DACO decals. With our growing inventory slowly taking over all of our storage space here at Twobobs, we've made the business decision to not carry any more 3rd party sheets. Danny Coremans at DACO/ASTRA makes some great products as you all know. You can get these products through other distributors and retailers that he has throughout the world.

All DACO decals on our site are now 25% off until they're gone. Great deal!
