Hot Babe of the
Week is courtesy of Robin Polderman. I'll admit, I can't remember if
I put these up before as a weekly Hot Babe; if so, my apologies.
Some Jump Jet love for you guys.

We were out of
the office last week to two separate sides of the globe. Teri was
back home in PA to visit family and I had a business trip to the UK
that took me away for a week. The picture above is from the parking
lot of my hotel right outside RAF Valley in the UK. This base is the
home to RAF pilot training in the UK. The ramp is littered with
Hawks and if you're lucky enough, you might be able to see some
Typhoons from time to time. Great pic first thing in the AM right
before we headed on base for some meetings.
My week in the UK
was pretty interesting, most interesting was the fact that the sun
was out the entire time! We spent time at Warton and Lytham during
our meetings at BAE Systems and were lucky enough to get a tour of
the Typhoon production line as well as the modification hangar for
the Tornado and Hawk. With the retirement of the RAF Harrier's, it
was sad to see one example in a hangar with its wing removed as it
was undergoing tear-down. After that it was off to Robin Hood
Airfield and then to RAF Valley. Jam packed week but we were around
airplanes the entire time which made it not feel like work at
all!!
We've finally received our Diana and Eggplane sheets
and they look absolutely fantastic!! Another stellar job from
Microscale and these will be made available for order this coming
Friday, 01/28/11. We have received so much E-mail traffic on the
Eggplane sheets, I wonder how long these are going to
last!
Reference gathering continues on the VAQ-129 Centennial
jets. Final reference information was in my Inbox over the week that
I was out of town and I'll have that sheet finished up here in short
order!
