K
guys, you see the list to the right on what we have coming in our
next round of releases. Starting off this year with a bang and we
have stuff coming in all three scales for you. Quick rundown...
72-081 KC-135R Tanker Tango: This will be a multiple sheet
release with a pretty decent sized instruction sheet for obvious
reasons. One set of generic stencils and options for lots of jets.
McConnell, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and anything else I can shove on
there will make it on the sheet. Not too late to accept references
on this guy so if you have anything you want to share, fire away to
this E-mail addy! Good ol' Jeff Stoermer has provided refs for a lot
of these but the more the merrier for sure.
72-082 J35F1/J
Swedish Drakens: We've gotten a ton of requests to downsize our 48th
scale Draken sheets and we'll oblidge with this release. Four jets
with enough options for two most likely.
72-083/32-056
F-105D Commonwealth Thuds: Combo sheet to go with the Trumpeter
kits. Everyone always wonders why there aren't any 32nd scale Thud
sheets? Well here's one option for you. All Virginia ANG jets with
nose art. Eight jets total with basic stencils for one.
48-191 AH-64A/D Iron City Apaches: A model Apaches from the
PA ANG. The A/D model OEF/OIF helos will be broken out of this set
and be the subjects in a different product. There are two complete
sets of stencils on this sheet along with stencil markings for the
AGM-114 Hellfire and pylon, M130 Chaff Dispenser and M261 Rocket
pods. More news coming soon!
48-192
F/A-18C VFA-151 Patriot Vigilantes: This sheet was announced earlier
and slipped a bit due to some other sheets that needed to come out.
New CAG with OIF mission markings as well as some commemorative line
jets from 9/11/2001 which have never been released.
48-193
F-105D Commonwealth Thuds: Sized for the new Hobby Boss kit. Eight
options with most likely one set of stencils. All Virginia ANG jets
with nose art.
48-194 F-15A ASAT Eagles: Markings for the
two jets assigned to this satellite killer program from the 1980's.
Complete references were provided to us from the Air Force as well
as Gen. Doug Pearson who flew the ASAT mission. Look for Twomikes to
release a resin ASAT missile to go with this release.
48-195/32-055 A-7D Molar Marauder: Korat jet from 1973 that
had "old man teeth" painted on it one night under cover. Don Logan
as well as Paul Metz captured this aircraft the one day that the jet
had these markings. Quickly removed once the commander found out but
you'll be able to get it in decal form from Twobobs. Both 48th and
32nd scale jets will be on this sheet.
Lots going on as
usual around here and we'll be posting images as artwork gets
finished. All of these sheets are in some state of work so we'll see
which one's get done first. More to come!
