Twobobs Aviation Graphics Newsletter

09 March 2008Droppin' the "411" for this week at Twobobs!
What's New This Week!

New Hot Babe of the Week is up. Block 50 Chilean Vipers courtesy of Rodrigo Loyola Armijo. Right Click, Enjoy!

Back from a week of business travel. Haven't flown on a 747 since I was a kid. Man they're a lot nicer than what I remember!

Didn't get a lot of Twobobs done this week. It's like Christmas around here sometimes when I get back from travel. The Inbox is pretty full and usually there's tons of pics attached. This time was no different and the best gift this time were some VERY cool Super Hornet pics from Lemoore. More on that in the next newsletter. Sheet is already in work. It's amazing...

Arctic Bandit News:
Nothing new to report this week guys other than the pilot name assignment on the last two Arctic Jets has been delayed until the second half of this month. Can't put sheets out until I have that last bit of info. I have three sheets finished/done/complete and the folks there will shoot me the names the second they get assigned. Sorry guys, just want to make sure I get these right!

There will not be a 72nd/32nd combo sheet as I mentioned earlier. Just couldn't get both of those scales to fit on one product. These two scales will be stand-alone sheets and all four Arctic jets will be represented. You guys will freak as soon as I get these images released to the masses. Absolutely wicked, especially in 32nd scale.

You've probably seen a few postings on the web from my buddy Mike Reeves of TwoMikes Resin. Mike has been a friend of mine for quite a few years and those of you who frequent the boards have always known him to be a pretty stand-up guy. The best thing about Mike though is that he KNOWS how to run a business. He and his dad own a trophy shop as their full-time gig so he "gets it" as far as all those things you do when it comes to running a business. Great customer service is at the top of the list for him and we wouldn't be aligning ourselves with TwoMikes if that wasn't the case. He carries himself professionaly and both Teri and I consider him and his wife good friends.

The masters for all the resin products they will be offering will be the domain of Mike Valdez. Mike is an IPMS Nationals winner and knows way too much about modern jets. Mike Valdez along with some other renown master builders that have been the creator of many of the resin products you and I have bought in the past, will be the genesis for the great products you will see from this company.

Our relationship with TwoMikes will be a loose partnership, an alliance if you will. We will leverage our combined efforts and ideas of reference gathering and product releases to where we feed off each other. The QF-4 conversion set is right along the lines of that alliance; we come out with a decal sheet and Twomikes releases a resin conversion for said decal sheet.

We welcome our new relationship with Twomikes and hope that together, we can kick out some products that go hand in hand for your modeling pleasure.

Soooo drum roll please. Here's Twomikes first two releases. They're packaging these up now and getting the website all squared away. They'll be coming soon enough though and you'll be able to check them out at http://www.twomikesresin.com once the site goes live.
