New Hot Babe of
the Week this week are pics of some Hoovers from VS-22. The
Checkmates were the last squadron to fly the Hoover in combat and
Jose "Fuji" Ramos has graciously provided pics for this week. Look
for these markings to be released soon. Last of the Hoovers!
Work continues on the T-2C Buckeye kits and we will have
these ready to ship out in the month of September. Things are moving
along nicely as we inch closer to this kit's debut.
We are
accepting pre-orders for both boxings of the kit and we will also be
accepting preorders from US/Canada/Mexico customers at the IPMS
National Convention. These kits will ship as soon as they become
available.
Speaking of the IPMS National Convention, this is
the last newsletter you'll receive prior to us flying off to
Columbus. Let's get right into it and announce what we have going at
this years Nats!
We will be vending this year along with
Twomikes Resin, Obscureco, Daco/Astra and Falcon Aviation
Photography. Look for us in the Franklin Room, we'll be up against
one of the short walls.
We will be debuting eight new decal
sheets at the show as well as having preview images of the T-2C
Buckeye kit. Twomikes, Obscureco, Daco/Astra will also have new
product releases and Adam Aboud with Falcon Aviation will be
debuting some of his aviation images for you to purchase.
All Twobobs/Twomikes customers will enjoy a 10% discount at
our booth this year on our products as well as the 3rd party decals
that we carry here at Twobobs! Just bring all your products to the
register and we'll take 10% off the top of your entire purchase!
This discount does not apply to Obscureco, Daco/Astra or Falcon
Aviation.
We
will also have a raffle this year for some pre-loaded Visa Debit
Cards!! Sponsored by Twobobs, Twomikes and Microscale, we have all
passed the hat amongst our respective companies and pulled together
to purchase these branded Visa cards. These work like any
traditional credit card and can be used to purchase goods and
products anywhere that Visa cards are accepted. If you're a lucky
winner, just take your card up to your hotel room, jump on your
laptop and activate your card and go spend your money! Awesome!
Raffle tickets go for $1.00/ea so swing on by the booth and enter

fifteen winning tickets given out over the span of the convention.
We're down to our last few Xtradecal sheets here at Twobobs
and I will be bringing all that we have remaining to the show. Look
for these to be discounted to $5.00/ea. Couple that with the 10%
discount we're offering at our booth and it's quite the deal. Not a
whole lot left, so make sure you get to the booth early before
they're all picked through.
I have received more than a few
E-mails from vendors and customers as well as some unsolicited
donations from customers for our annual Twobobs Hospitality Suite.
We have cancelled our party for this year due to the events that
transpired at last years event. This will be a one year hiatus and
you can look to us to re-engage with all the vendors that we
traditionally host this party with next year in Phoenix. Looking
forward to it guys!
Teri will not be attending the show this
year with me but she will be back at home station holding down the
fort. She'll have plenty of stock available of all our new releases
that we're debuting at the Nats. For you guys that can't attend,
feel free to order off the site and Teri will get those in the mail
as per normal.
Remember that our entire stock of 3rd party
decals from MAW, Zotz, Modeldecal and Daco/Astra will be with us at
the show so if you order any of those brands, your order will be
delayed until we return from the convention.
