More Eagles this
week guys. Some old-school stuff for you from Luke AFB back when
they were the RTU for the F-15. Photos courtesy of your bud and
mine, Jim Rotramel. Thanks for the references Jim. Right-click,
enjoy!
Some of you I'm sure are aware of some web security
issues that our friends at Hannants are having right now. Really
feel for David, Nigel and the bunch out there; I'm sure they'll get
to the bottom of the issues that some unscrupulous individuals have
caused for them. We've received a handful of E-mails from customers
asking general questions about our site security so I thought I'd
address those here.
Our site uses a service called
Authorize.net that handles all of our card processing. We've been
using this service for the better part of eight years now and have
never had a single security issue through 100's of thousands of
transactions. None of your card or personal information is ever
stored on our servers or our bank servers. Once your transaction
goes through and your card is charged (instantaneous when you
complete your order) your information is purged and disappears. None
of it is ever stored by us here at Twobobs or by our
bank.
Some customers in the past have asked us to implement a
system where their customer information is stored by us so they can
"check out" easier/faster when they come to re-visit our site. If we
did that, your information would be stored on a server somewhere and
would have the potential of being compromised which is the reason we
don't do that. Not saying that this is the main reason that things
like this happen but it is one of many and we'd rather err on the
side of caution and not expose ourselves to that situation. Bottom
line; our site is extremely secure and has been from the beginning.
Order from Twobobs with confidence!
Now that I'm back in
town, we have some sheets that are going to be released extremely
soon. The F-4 Phantom stencils which have been done for a while now
as well as the Diana sheets are coming in the next few weeks. I also
have a product announcement below for one of the more unique things
we've done around here. More below.
