This sheet provides markings for three different eras of the A-10.

A-10A 80-0221 in special arctic scheme from Operation Cool Snow Hog 82-1. There is a bonus set of markings for this aircraft in 1/72nd scale included.

A-10A 80-0186 from Desert Storm. This aircraft suffered severe damage from an SA-16 during a mission and was quickly repaired and put back into service within 7 days.

A-10C 80-0186 from the DARPA/AFRL Persistent Close Air Support (PCAS) program. This is the same SN as the Desert Storm aircraft on this sheet. This aircraft was utilized as an Optionally Piloted Vehicle (OPV) to facilitate testing of some leading edge Joint Terminal Attack Control (JTAC) technology development and testing for this very leading edge program. Many of the technologies developed on this program have been implemented into current JTAC/TACP capabilities.

48-277 F-15C Grim Reapers End of an Era

The 493rd Fighter Squadron, nicknamed the Grim Reapers, is part of the United States Air Force's 48th Fighter Wing located at RAF Lakenheath.  The 493rd will be the last USAF squadron to fly the F-15C/D, flying the Eagle since 1994.  They are currently transitioning to the F-35 Lightning II and as part of that transition, they have painted a special scheme commemorating their history with the F-15 with nose art that captures their last F-15 deployment to Poland.  There are also markings on this sheet for three additional schemes from their 2019 deployment that feature nose art.

The Grim Reapers have received multiple commendations and awards in their history, including the Air Force Associatin's Hughes Tropher in 1997 and 1999 and the 2007, 2014, 2016 and 2019 Raytheon Trophies, for being recognized as the top fighter squadron in the USAF.

48-276 A-10C Hoosier Hawgs

The 122nd FW traces it's history back to the 358th Fighter Group that was activated in January 1943.  Flying P-47 Thunderbolts, their primary mission was bomber escort but as the Allies advanced, their role shifted to ground support and "tank busting".

The 122nd Fighter Wing currently operates a full squadron of A-10C Thunderbolt II aircraft.  The "Blacksnakes" of the 163rd Fighter Squadron are based out of the Fort Wane Air National Guard (ANG) Base in Fort Wayne, IN.

To commemorate 100 Years of Aviation in the Indiana Air National Guard, the ANG Paint Facility in Sioux City, Iowa painted one aircraft in a black/gray scheme with a large "100" on both engine nacelles.  The colors of the scheme follow the same pattern as the traditional A-10 scheme.

There are an additional five aircraft on this decal sheet that capture the traditional line jets at various times in the units history.

48-275 A-10C Heritage Hawgs

Numerous heritage paint schemes have adorned USAF fighter aircraft over the last few years. These have been done in support of promoting unit heritage and moral. The ANG, Reserves and Active Duty force painted these three unique, temporary schemes.

The 405th FS scheme celebrates the 75th Anniversary of their squadron and replicates a P-47 scheme from Western France in 1944.

The A-10 Demonstration Team scheme pays homage to POW/MIA personnel from the Vietnam Conflict. This scheme will be on the jet for the entire 2021/2022 airshow season.

The paint scheme on the 303rd FS is from 2019 and their jet was painted with D-Day invasion stripes in commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the D-Day Invasion.

There are enough markings on this sheet to build all three jets. There is also dimensional information provided to mask and paint the invasion stripes on the aircraft.

48-263 EA-18G Pew Pew Growlers

VAQ-209 is the only Navy Reserve squadron that flies the EA-18G and are known as the "Star Warriors".  They are based out of NAS Whidbey Island, Washington.

This decal sheet provides options for three different AC, one CAG and two line jets.  There are enough stencils for the CAG aircraft and one of the line aircraft.

Markings are also included for three ALQ-99 pods

Part II of of our continuing coverage of the new Aggressor schemes coming out of the 18th FS in Eielson AB!

The BDU Splinter, Blue Splinter and the newest Arctic Splinter all follow the same schematic pattern as the previous Alaskan Splinter jets.  We have also included a couple of the all black scheme as well as an all gray scheme on this sheet.  The single color schemes were resident on the jets during their ferry flights to Eielson.

Included in the sheet are complete markings and stencils for all the splinter jets

48-260 F-16C/D Thunderbirds

The first aftermarket sheet ever released for the F-16C/D Thunderbirds!  The USAF is celebrating its 70th Anniversary in 2017 and these markings are current for this years airshow season.

One full set of Thunderbird markings are included with unique aircrew and maintenance markings for each individual jet.  A bonus to the 2017 markings are the names that were carried during Buzz Aldrin's flight at the Homestead Airshow.

There are also markings for "Warbird 10".  This Block 15 jet from the 1988 airshow season was reverted back to a Combat Coded aircraft for one mission and dispensed live munitions.  The aircraft was reverted from airshow configuration back to combat configuration in 72-hours.Included in the sheet are two complete sets of markings and stencils for both splinter jets.  The walkway lines are printed in three different colors to allow the modeler to accurately match the walkway lines to the paint schemes as applied.

Not to be outdone by the new aggressor schemes at Nellis AFB, the 359th FW at Eielson AFB, AK have generated a new splinter scheme of their own.

Designed by squadron personnel, these schemes flew for the first time in early 2017.  Twobobs worked directly with squadron personnel to ensure that every subtle detail of these unique markings were captured accurately.

Included in the sheet are two complete sets of markings and stencils for both splinter jets.  The walkway lines are printed in three different colors to allow the modeler to accurately match the walkway lines to the paint schemes as applied.

48-255 SU-24/SU-34 Syrian Sukhois

Our first foray into Russian aviation and it's a good one!  This sheet coincides with the new release of the Hobby SU-34. 

Both SU-24 Fencers and SU-34 Fullbacks have been heavily involved in the Syrian conflict and we've captured multiple airframes here with LOTS of mission markings!  There are options for (7) SU-34 aircraft and (3) SU-24 aircraft.  One of the SU-34 has special markings to commemorate the shootdown of Oleg Peshkov's SU-24 (markings for this AC are also included) by a Turkish F-16 in Nov. 2015.

SU-34s have had a myriad of tail markings during the conflict and we have provided nose/tail markings of these aircraft to capture these deviations as best as we can construe from our reference sources.

Only major AC markings are included to use in conjunction with the kit provided stencils.

The 57th Wing at Nellis AFB continues to generate new adversary paint schemes that mimic the newest schemes from potential adversaries of the US with the "splinter" scheme being the latest.

We worked with the actual crew chief of this particular jet to get all the little details "just right" on this jet and we've included a couple of other topical schemes on this sheet.

The Arctic scheme comes with both a white and black set of stencils so the modeler can trim his walkway decals to match up with any variations in the camo scheme and we've also included an "old school" Flanker scheme from the mid 90s to round out this sheet.
